My mother scolded me as my sister had started crying. She explained to me that it is right to share things with your siblings and wrong to snatch things from someone. She also told me not to be fiercely possessive about my things. My mother went on to explain to my sister that she should not open my bag without informing me. We both learnt our lessons. We hugged each other and apologized to each other.

Adverbs:
An adverb is a word that modifies a verb, adjective, another adverb, noun phrase, clause or even the entire sentence. An adverb tells us how, where, when, in what manner and to what extent an action is performed.
Many adverbs end with ‘ly’ like – happily, sadly, angrily, delightfully, etc.
There are also adverbs which do not end with ‘ly’ like-fast, never, well, very, etc.
Examples :
(1) The children should cross the road carefully. In the above sentence, the adverb carefully modifies the verb ‘cross’.
(2) She dances gracefully. In the above sentence, the adverb gracefully modifies the verb ‘dances’.

The Quarrel Summary in English
This poem highlights the usual tights that take place between siblings. The poet recalls one such Incident when she had a fight with her brother. She could not recall the reason for the fight. All he remembers is that one thing led to another and what started off as mild tiff a became a strong fight in the end. Both of ,them thought that he or she was right and the other person was wrong.
The fight reached to a level wherein by noon they both started hating each other. The afternoon was ruined because of the fight. Then suddenly, the poet’s brother patted her on her back and told her that they should not continue their fight into the night. He accepted that he was wrong and that time he was right. The poet concludes that all siblings do fight but they also make tip and forget about their fights.
