Importance of science in everyday life
We can see the use of science in each and every aspect of our life. Science is an essential element in our daily life. We can’t escape from science and its uses in our daily life. Basic knowledge of science is mandatory for everyone as it makes life easier and opens our mind in many ways. Science is completely based on facts and experiments so, it doesn’t change with time, basics of science always remain same.
We can get explanation of everything through science from magic performance to vehicles running by using hydrogen gas. Every new technology depends on science. Science and technology both complement each other. Science deals with natural phenomena on the basis of facts and gives rise to new and better technology which makes our life easier. Science promotes curiosity.
Importance of science in everyday life
Science is most essential part in our daily life. We use science in our daily life. We wake up and use toothpaste and toothbrush which are both given to us by science. We use science in eating, cooking, clothing etc. Baking involves basic knowledge of science and baking machines such as oven, microwave are inventions of science. Can we imagine our life without electricity? If no, then we must know that electricity is also given by science. Examples of uses of science in our everyday life are as follows –
• We use bicycles, car or bus to go from one place to another, all these are inventions of science.
• We use soaps and detergents these are also given by science.
• We use LPG gas, stove etc. for cooking, these all are given by science.
• Even the house in which we live are a products of science.
Importance of science in different fields are as follows –
• Agriculture – In the field of agriculture, science has contributed so much. Presently machines are available for sowing the seeds on fields. Tractor, drip irrigation system, thresher drip irrigation system, sprinkler irrigation system etc. all are products of science. All the fertilizers are also given by chemical science.
• Medicine – The medical field is entirely based on science. All the drugs are products of medicinal chemistry. Tools used for medical field are also given by science. Machines such as X-ray, ECG machine, MRI machines even injections are invented by science.
• Transportation – All the vehicles are inventions of science. Science has made the world a small place to travel. The distance of Kashmir to Kanyakumari in just few hours away. Scooter, cars, aircrafts, helicopters etc. all these are inventions of science. We can transport goods easily and faster by the use of machines given by science.
• Communication – With science world is a small place to live. We can talk to anyone in fraction of seconds anywhere they are irrespective of their place. Mobile phones, telephones etc. all of these are the invention of science. All these means of communications are available at very low cost. So, all of these are in the reach of a common man. Science has made is very easy and cheap to talk to someone using a mobile phone or telephone.
• Construction – Every building we built is given to us by science. Construction of buildings are completely based on the technology which is given by science. Machines used for construction work such as motor graders, bulldozers, backhoe loaders etc. are given by science.
• Photography – Many machines used for photography are given tom us by science. Today it’s very easy to click a picture. Camera is now even a part of our small mobile phones. Other than these, science has given us many machines which are useful for each and every aspect of our life which are computers.
Thus, science has importance in each and every field of our life. It is important in making our life easier it gives answer of all our questions related to life. Science and technology give wings to our imaginations by its theories and facts.
