Chandan Patil
Chandan deals with math in his day-to-day life as he is a Math teacher, he is involved in making the subject of math easier for his young students. This was exactly the opposite when it was his childhood when he used to be a student.
“ When I was in 8th class I used to hate math as a subject because my teacher used to make us do sums very spontaneously and I was never able to understand how the sum was done, so I used to score very bad. Then during parent-teacher meetings, my teacher used to pass this on to my parents and my days became worse.
In my 9th grade, I took extra classes for math and my grades improved but my parents we not satisfied with my results as they used to compare my results to that of the students with higher grades. But next year in my 10th I met my angel my wonderful mentor who really changed my life he not only taught me maths but he made me understand math due to which my grades improved a lot. In my boards I got 93 in math then I chose math after my 10th and now here I am a math teacher.
East or West math is the best”
Surbhi Shrivastav
Till 8th standard math was an impossible task for Dimple. She used to spend a lot of time in thinking and worrying about unnecessary aspects of studies, she should instead spend that time and energy on understanding the concepts.
“ I will be really familiar, till 9th grade I literally used to fail in math. It was my most hated subject, this could be because my teacher was not able to convey the concepts properly, or I was not able to grab the concepts. In my higher standards, I found the teacher who helped me and guided me to the right path. He told me to develop a habit of solving puzzles before going to sleep. This helped me increase my concentration this way I learned most of the topics on myself. Soon I explored many topics of math. During my engineering, I developed a passion for math. Then I got to know that math was calling me and I pursued math as a career too.“
Rahul Patel
Rahul loved math, he wanted that his big part of life was to be given to math, but soon after a few years, he began to question his choice.
“ After my 7th grade, I had a big downfall in the graph of learning math. I used to study math for 2 hours a day but still was not able to understand maths properly soon after I started avoiding math and started hating it! I better would like to avoid remembering those days.
Later when I started my bachelor’s in Physics, I was not able to apply concepts of physics due to my weak math then I joined coaching for math where I met Dimple mam who helped me to clear all my doubts. Then I started understanding applications of concepts of math like Crammers Rule and many other theorems. After meeting Dimple mam I again started loving math as I loved it in my 6th grade. Now I love math I am in love with the theorems and applications of math in daily life.”
